Welcome to creative and motivational
ways of learning

The New Learning Adventures Company provides training and consultation about building the resilience and emotional intelligence of children and young people in Years 4 – 6, engaging parents in their child’s learning and the provision of the role of ‘critical friend’ with school staff and management teams.

At the heart of effective school and organisational improvement is the ability to think, teach, learn, and respond with creativity and clarity to our ever-changing world; to embrace what is out there and make it work for us.  We know too that in order for our children and young people to succeed they need to have a developed sense of self,  to know how to make decisions and to solve problems.  Fundamentally,  they need to know how to take risks and to learn from them.  Our training supports students and teachers in the development of self-management and self-awareness driven by a heightened sense of purpose and motivation.

Our consultation and training supports students, teachers, Children’s Centre staff, parents/carers and Multi Agency Teams.

Please contact us if you wish to discuss any of the training we offer, or would like us to devise a programme to meet your particular needs.

The session that you led after school was perfectly pitched for the audience {teachers, support staff and Governing Body}.  It triggered lots of discussion and led to many thoughtful pointers to inform our SDP.  We have had several discussions on BHAGs!!  It has caused much laughter underpinning some valuable ways forward.  Everyone was committed to the ‘Working Together’ day and having you to bring it altogether was very powerful, many thanks.

Annie has the ability to gain the trust and respect of the children very quickly.  Her training sessions have been practical, engaging, relevant and provided the children with  useful strategies and ideas to develop their emotional intelligence.  The children have responded very well to Annie, and look forward to their sessions with her.  We have been able to use the ‘self-talk’, ‘Sentence starters,’ ‘DEAL’ and ‘Emotional detectives’  to discuss and analyse issues within the class.  The children have become familiar with these routines and procedures and are turning to them when friendship issues become overwhelming.  I would recommend a course of these sessions to help the children to work out different ways of tackling relationship problems.

Comments made by a teacher following the delivery of a bespoke 10 week programme to build the Emotional Resilience of a class of Year 4 pupils

Before Mrs New came to our class I didn’t know how to react and deal with family or school problems but now I have been in her classes I know how to deal with problems and am so much happier when I go to school and when I am at home. Thank you Mrs New! Noor
